Our Amazing Team

Valley Farm Animal Hospital has a large staff complement of over 80 people. This enables us to have ample staff during busy times, day and night, seven days a week, all year round.

Valley Farm Animal Hospital partners Dr Tim Krafft and Dr Dean de Kock are assisted in the running of the practice by the management team of Julia van Draanen, and Ellen Heydenrych.

Each member of our team plays an important role in the practice and is highly valued because without them everyone else’s work would be that bit harder. 

Customer Care Team

The customer care team will be your first point of contact at Valley Farm Animal Hospital. They assist you with bookings, payments, and general enquiries. All of the customer care staff study basic pet nutrition and parasite control and a number have also undergone dog behaviour training.

Nursing Team

Veterinary nursing is a calling and we are very lucky to have a team of dedicated and caring nurses on staff. These amazing nurses are all graduates of the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Pretoria.

Veterinarians

Our veterinary team including four specialists have a wide range of knowledge and expertise. They are here to assist you with your pets 24hours a day very day.

Animal Health Technicians

Our team of Animal Health Technicians (AHT) support our nursing team. They assist with the general care of the patients entrusted to our care.

Animal Care Assistants and Cleaning Staff

These staff play a vital role in our hospital. They support our nurses and doctors by helping care for our patients, and by keeping the practice clean and hygienic.

Shop Staff

Deliana Jacobs is our shop manager. She is assisted by Brian, and our reception staff with sales in the shop.
