Dr Ryan Freidlein, BSc BVSc Hons MMedVet (Medicine)

Dr Ryan Friedlein qualified from Onderstepoort in 2009 and subsequently started working at a small animal specialist referral hospital in Johannesburg.

After 2 years as a general practitioner and realising a keen interest in diagnostic medicine he enrolled in the small animal medicine program and completed his specialisation in 2017.

He joined Valley Farm in 2021 as a Specialist Physician and has strong passions and interests in oncology and diagnostic imaging.

He is an avid reader following the likes of Stephen King, Joe Hill and Jeff Lindsay as well as enjoys nature, hiking, combat sports and spending time with his dogs, Wolfgang and Babette.
