Dr Lo-An Odayar, BVSc MMed Vet (Ophthal)
Dr Lo-An qualified as a veterinarian from the University of Pretoria in 2003. After a year in general veterinary practice, she was able to focus on her key interest of veterinary ophthalmology by completing a masters in this field.
Dr Lo-An has been practicing as a veterinary ophthalmologist since 2008. She is passionate about animal eye health and works with all animal species, great and small but focusing on mostly companion animals (dogs, cats and horses).
 We are very excited to have her join our team and be able to offer the following small animal services here at Valley Farm Animal Hospital:
  Ophthalmology diagnostics (including electroretinography and ultrasound)
- All extra-ocular surgery
- Intra-ocular surgery (including lentectomies and phacoemulsification [cataract surgery])
- Hereditary eye disease screening
