Dr Dorianne Elliott DipVetNur, BVSc

Dr Dorianne Elliott qualified from Onderstepoort in 2002.

Since then she has focused specifically on the veterinary care of birds, reptiles and exotic animals. 

She runs the Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital, where she trains final year veterinary and nursing students in avian and exotics medicine and also sees both first opinion and referral cases.

She joined the team at Valley Farm in 2022 and consults here on Thursdays.

Dr Elliott has a special interest in the rehabilitation of injured birds of prey and is also a licensed rehabilitator.
