Biological Sciences (for 1 year) at the University of Pretoria in pursuit of becoming a veterinarian but after finding out about physiotherapy for animals she changed her course. Emre studied Veterinary Physiotherapy and graduated from Equine-Librium College in November 2016.

Emre grew up in the Free State and knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals. She is very passionate about animals, especially dogs and horses and has her own SA Boerperd Stud, called Emstud.
