Dr Tim Krafft, BVSc

Dr Tim is the founding partner of Valley Farm Animal Hospital. His entrepreneurial spirit, hard work and determination have helped grow the practice to what it is today.

Dr Tim’s veterinary interest lies in surgery which he has made his focus for the last 15 years. He especially enjoys orthopaedic and spinal surgery but is quite happy to do any general surgery that comes his way.

He was schooled in Johannesburg at St Stithians College, then spent two years at Wits University, finally ending up by doing his dream degree of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort, graduating in 1991.  After this he established Cullinan Vet Clinic and then Valley Farm Animal Hospital.

He is married and has two adult sons, three Scotties, a Long Haired German Shepherd and a Jack of all trades mixed breeds.

He likes to keep fit and cycles and exercises regularly.
