Dr Keagan Boustead, BSc Veterinary Biology BVSc

 

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Dr Keagan Boustead is a resident Anaesthetist at Valley Farm Animal Hospital. He qualified from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Pretoria in 2015. During his community service year, Dr Boustead worked in Neslpruit and was exposed to a variety of veterinary work from abattoir inspections and export certification, to consulting and performing multiple sterilisations at a local welfare organisation and local government clinics. In 2017 he returned to the Veterinary Academic Hospital at Onderstepoort to complete a rotating internship. It was during this year that he developed an interest in anaesthesiology and critical care. He has an interest in research and hopes to contribute new knowledge to the field of veterinary and human anaesthesia and critical care.
