Mild bout of gastro?
Pets can suffer from mild bouts of gastro the same way we can but often this is not serious.If they are still bright, happy and eating, then you can try a “light“ diet such as prescription gastrointestinal food, or boiled lean chicken of fish with a little rice for 48-hours, before beginning to add in their normal food.
Pets that are unwell in themselves; weak, not eating/drinking, or are either very young, very elderly or toy breeds, must see a vet as soon as possible, as these pets will need medical help without delays.
If symptoms persist for more than 48-hours, or worsen, the pet must see their vet asap.
