Valley Farm Animal Hospital has a large staff complement of over 85 people. This enables us to have ample staff during busy times, day and night, seven days a week, all year round.
Valley Farm Animal Hospital partners Dr Tim Krafft and Dr Dean de Kock are assisted in the running of the practice by the management team of Julia van Draanen, Ellen Heydenrych, and Sr Stephanie Rotherham.
The reception team will be your first point of contact at Valley Farm Animal Hospital. They assist you with bookings, payments, and general enquiries. All reception staff study basic pet nutrition and parasite control and a number have also undergone dog behaviour training.
Veterinary nursing is a calling and we are very lucky to have 14 dedicated and caring nurses on staff. These amazing nurses are all graduates of the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Pretoria.
Our veterinary team including four specialists have a wide range of knowledge and expertise. They are here to assist you with your pets 24hours a day very day.
We have an animal physiotherapist on staff she provide post-operative rehabilitation for patients and long term care for those with mobility issues.
Our team of Animal Health Technicians (AHT) support our nursing team. They assist with the general care of the patients entrusted to our care.
These staff play a vital role in our hospital. They support our nurses and doctors by helping care for our patients, and by keeping the practice clean and hygienic.
Deliana Jacobs is our shop manager. She is assisted by Eric and Brian, and our reception staff with sales in the shop.
Each member of our team plays an important role in the practice and is highly valued because without them everyone else’s work would be that bit harder.
