To make an appointment call us on 012 991 3573
All other hours are emergency service only.
Appointments for consultation and vaccinations can be booked Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:45. On weekends and public holidays we work on a first come first served basis.
It is always best to book an appointment so you get to see the doctor you would like to, and you are seen without having to wait. Walk-in clients will be assisted as soon as possible.
It is essential to book consultations for more specialised services such as behavioural issues, physiotherapy, pregnancy scans and operations. Your appointment will be directed to the correct staff member for assistance.
If you are exporting your pets and need tests, vaccines, documentation etc. it is your responsibility to inform our veterinarians of exactly what you need done. Every country has it’s own specific requirements and these also change from time to time so the practice accepts no liability for incorrect timing / treatment or tests done. Please note that some of the blood tests can take over a month to be processed at the laboratory, there is no alternative option for these so do not leave your bookings until the last minute.
Annual visits to the vet for the vaccinations also allow us to give your pet a full health check and examination. Regular checks allow us to catch diseases in their early stages and start treatment if necessary.
Puppies and kittens need a course of three to four vaccinations to ensure full cover, and adults will need an annual vaccination to maintain their immunity.
If this will be your first visit to Valley Farm you will need to complete a registration form and we will take a copy of your ID. Please arrive 10minutes early so the paper work can be completed.
All consultations are payable at the time. We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards and have a secure internet connection or for electronic transfers.
If your pet is insured please bring a claim form for our staff to complete for you.
